Opened in 1920 as a little chili stand, Barney’s Beanery has become a casual mainstay in Los Angeles and a gem of Hollywood lore. Take a diner, a local pub, a sports bar, and a rock n roll refuge, mixed all together in a cast iron chili pot and you get Barney’s Beanery. Breakfast, lunch and dinner items served from opening until well past midnight providing something for everyone at any time. A booth for every table makes the spaces feel cozy even when busy, and the walls are a mashup of license plates, vintage signs, photos, and other decorations. There are five Barney’s Beanery locations across Los Angeles, open 365 days a year.
